1997 MOREA GREEN BMW 328i CONVERTIBLE
Ron and Carole Becker joined the Northern Colorado VMCCA in April of 2019 because of a friendship with Ray & Carol Maxfield. They started looking for a vintage car. While searching, Carole saw this beautiful 1997 Morea Green BMW 328i convertible on Marketplace for $4,100. It was located in Fort Collins. It belonged to a retired couple who had moved there from Santa Fe, NM. They had purchased it from a school teacher in Santa Fe and now wanted the garage space where it was parked.

Carole said the BMW had an automatic transmission and automatic windows. Also, it had a back seat where I could put "stuff". That really appealed to me as I could use it as a daily driver and was so reasonably priced!! You can have a vintage car without spending bunches of money. We bought it in July of 2019 with an odometer reading of 76,859. The driver's seat needed new upholstery and a dent in the front had it repaired. Other than those repairs, it remains as it was when we bought it.

It was so nice that the original dealer
information sheet was still with the car
as were the tools in the tool case in the
trunk. The list price in October of 1997 was
$41,390 with additional features of rollover
protection, on-board computer, sport
package, automatic transmission and metallic
paint bringing the price to $47,135. We have not been
on any national tours but have done many local tours.
