Attend Windsor Playhouse Theatre in Windsor CO; Neil Simon's, California Suite; play is mix of comedy, intriguing drama, melodically musicals shows; www.windsorplayhouse.org
MONTHLY MEETING: April 11, 2024 (Thursday): Northern Colorado VMCCA at Loveland Fire
Station #10, 4301 Ronald Reagan Blvd Johnstown; we will finalize plans for tour on April 20, 2024.
April 20, 2024: (Saturday) Colorado Model Railroad Museum, 680 10th Street, Greeley CO. Meet at 9:30am at Carl's Jr, Clydesdale Rd & Crossroads Blvd; tour to Greeley; Museum occupies 5,500 square foot, a miniature world of wonder with model trains. www.cmrm.org Soup Luncheon after tour.
June 8, 2024 (Saturday) 9:00am-2:00pm; located at 4650 Sunview Drive, Loveland CO at Episcopal Church; Registration fee - $25; fees for this event will go to help Northern Colorado single moms & widows with their car needs; www.tiny.cc/SweetheartCityCarShow
June 22, 2024 (Saturday): Mystery Tour; Mark Hamlin & James Marlatt is taking us on a tour of inventive minds at Shelby Automotive Collection in Boulder CO
MONTHLY MEETING: July 11, 2024 (Thursday), Social at 6:45pm Meeting at Frank & Mary Kauffman's home; Details of our Larimer County Fair Parade entry will be finalized.
July 27, 2024 (Saturday): Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Parade – Frank & Mary Kauffman organized our club’s entry. 10 convertibles filled with non-convertible owners as passengers/navigators. Plus anyone who would like to walk alongside. Penny Riehm and Carol Maxfield carried the VMCCA banner at the beginning of our entry and Lisa and Gib Coalwell carried the Northern Colorado Chapter banner at the end of our entry.
August 10, 2024 (Saturday): Carol and Ray Maxfield and Penny and Fred Riehm will host our Annual Breakfast at Kroh Park and then we will caravan to the Affinity Independent Care facility in Loveland CO for a small car show for the residents who live there.
August 14, 2024 (Wednesday): Group Tour (90 minutes) at the Morning Fresh Dairy in Bellvue CO; we will meet at Jax on West Eisenhower at 10:00am, will have a short meeting and leave at 10:30am for Morning Fresh Dairy; bring a sack lunch and a lawn chair.
September 20 - 22, 2024: Mountains & Plains Regional Tour: Scottsbluff NE: attending Harvest Festival, Legacy of the Plains Museum, Scottsbluff National Monument, Chimney Rock and Tom Cozad's Ford Garage in Gering NE. Host hotel at Hampton Inn & Suites in Scottsbluff, NE TOUR FULL; WAIT LIST ONLY
October 12, 2024: RIST CANYON ODYSSEY TOUR hosted by Troy & Beth Kauffman; Meet at 9:15am. We leave promptly at 9:30am. This tour does have curvy mountain roads and steep downgrades so bring your best brakes. We will return to Troy and Beth's barn porch about noon for a sack lunch and beverage that you provide. Troy and Beth will provide dessert! Club meeting after the tour.
November 11, 2024 (Monday): Veterans Parade, meet at VFW hall for early breakfast; Veterans Parade begins at 11:11am
November 16, 2024 Saturday, 11:30am - 2:30pm; We eat at 12:00pm. Annual Friendsgiving Potluck, First Congregational Church, 800 North Lincoln, Loveland CO. Hosts: Frank & Mary Kauffman; Bring your place settings (lemonade & coffee will be provided). If those who have not signed up for certain dish, please bring a can or two of food to be given to the Community Food Bank. Election of Officers will be held.
December 14th Christmas Luncheon at Eaton Country Club; Soup & salad bar begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the main meal (shrimp, prime rib or vegetarian lasagna) at 12:00pm. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase (yourself) at the bar. DESSERT: order off menu for extra charge or Christmas cookies/sweets provided by those who would like to share. The price is $25 per IF DUES & LUNCH ARE PAID BEFORE DECEMBER 1ST, otherwise the price is $35 per person and must be paid to Jim Bunkers in advance with no meal sales at door.
